LPO string play in
The LPO is a group of community musicians from the greater Lowell area who meet
regularly to practice orchestral music from a variety of genres. Since its founding in 1903,
the LPO’s mission has been to inspire the greater Merrimack Valley with musical
performances given throughout the year. The LPO is composed of volunteer musicians
of all ages and abilities.
Each year we perform a concert where we invite student string musicians to join us to perform a piece with the orchestra.
